At Trellis Academy, the safety and well-being of every child is a top priority.

All staff and adults working regularly with students undergo comprehensive background screening, including criminal history checks, sex offender registry checks, and reference verification.

We are intentional about creating a safe, relational environment where children are known, supported, and cared for. Our small class sizes and close teacher relationships allow us to maintain strong awareness of each child’s experience throughout the day.

We also partner closely with families, recognizing that a safe and healthy school environment is built through trust, communication, and shared responsibility.
